Pet peeves, bugs

The rule book is riddled with grammatical and spelling errors. Really makes me mad when spending money on an app. Cant the developers hire a decent copyeditor? Oh and bugs too. Tutorial on selling cotton repeatedly seizes up after selecting market value.

Beautiful implementation, though a few improvements needed

The artwork and animation are perfect, in my opinion. It is great to be able to see where you can take actions given your cards, industries, resources, network and developments. The game has been very stable on both my iPad Air and my iPhone 4S (both iOS 9). As others have noted, a few improvements are needed: The AIs do not offer "intermediate" level play. Although useful in gaining familiarity with the rules and mechanics of play, they do not pose any challenge. I never came close to losing to them, even though my only previous experience was a single game in cardboard with three other novice players, in which I was beaten handily. UPDATE: You CAN view other players stacks to see their stage of development by clicking on their icon at the top of the summary chart pop-up. (I discovered this by accident.) It is hard to see how industries develop. In particular, you cant see how many higher-level industry counters are available until you have reached that level. The development action seems to require an inordinate number of clicks to complete. The online play matching and interface could be improved. You cant invite others, there is no rating system and there is no kind of search or auto match feature. The ability to give a game you start a title is handy, though.

Shows promise but not ready

The game shows promise but needs alot of polish. The solo game is good but has weak AI. The justification used was a focus on multiplayer which is unfortunately very flawed and unplayable. You cant invite friends and are limited to public invites only. The game gets stuck in multiplayer to where turns cant be played. You cant tell when it is your turn. You also cant tell who is who in game

Excellent game

A really really good game and a great production. Only drawback is a poor tutorial but for those who are in to good strategic board games and willing to invest the time into learning the game you will be definitely rewarded. Go a head and buy.

Good game poor AI

This game is true to the board game, but the AI stinks. It always does the same thing. Turn 1 upgrade ports. Doesnt matter the cost. When its the last turn to take loans, the AI takes both actions in loans, even if it has a ton of money. AI always passes last turn, even if it has cash to buy railroads. It rarely builds iron or coal in second half. I hope they upgrade the AI soon, otherwise I wasted my money

Great Implementation, awful AI

I was really excited about this game and enjoyed the first game. Play is intuitive and graphics are beautiful....... However, the AI is not good. Destroyed them on the first game, they did nothing but pass the last 3 rounds, was very disappointed to find out there was no way to make it stronger. Hopefully the developers will improve this.

Great intro to Brass

This has to be a great introduction to Brass. So far it is my only experience with the boardgame, but now I’m definitely looking forward to the Roxley Kickstarter for the hard copy. The App’s design is pretty impressive on its own right.
