Good game poor AI

This game is true to the board game, but the AI stinks. It always does the same thing. Turn 1 upgrade ports. Doesnt matter the cost. When its the last turn to take loans, the AI takes both actions in loans, even if it has a ton of money. AI always passes last turn, even if it has cash to buy railroads. It rarely builds iron or coal in second half. I hope they upgrade the AI soon, otherwise I wasted my money
